Ah, well. We ordered one on eBay for about $10 incl. shipping. The eBay seller was actually some Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealer. But the cupholder arrived broken, so we e-mailed them back... turns out it was broken before they shipped it, they didn't know what it was supposed to look like. So, they replaced it for free by getting the part through their magic dealer supply connections.

Anyway, there must be a supply available to dealers somewhere. But they aren't on eBay anywhere, anymore. You could try your local dealer.

gatmog: What did you screw your CB mount to? I want to put mine in a similar place on the passenger side of the center console, but I'm not sure if whatever is behind the plastic is strong enough to put some coarse thread screws into.

its definitely strong enough--i just ran some drywall screws through it, seems plenty strong to me, oh yeah!! and i put some 3m doublesided tape on the mount too, no problems whatsoever

EDIT to further answer the question--the console is hollow but the plastic is over 1/8th inch thick--mine is screwed and taped directly to it

I use to have mine up there 2. And it worked fine. however i have a comanche, and i actually had a section of metal that extends out a lil.

eclipse if you ever want to give away your truck....you can figure out the rest, i miss my old MJ so bad and yours is really nice i love the XJ but nothing was as funny as trying to watch a Peugot transmission push a GM 2.8L to 60 mph in less than a day but aside being slow that truck was TOUGH probably had Dana 44's on it

Well thanks man. I actually maybe getting rid of it, u'll def. be the first one i tell if you'd like it. I won't be selling it for atleast 4 months or so tho.

man i really like that storage compartment. You think you could help me fab something up?...i wanta make either a roll bar...or storage box for teh bed of my mj. You have any ideas????

how about a storage box thatll fit between your roll bar bars? would seem like a good way to anchor the box if you ask me..and the bed would be narrower between the bars--i'd say that would be a good use for the space between them!
