xj interchangeable parts

This is my "noob" post but anyway got my first jeep 92xj laredo with 138,xxx miles not a bad little rig but the left side has some damage... pass. fender bumper headlight bezel grill... I've been on craigslist looking for some parts jeeps but I found a 93 but they say the parts will only fit 93+ but my buddy has a 93 and our jeeps are identical any fitting issues between the two?

84-96 XJs should all be the same bodywork and frame. as far as i know nothing other than drivetrain changed until 97... i would take a look at your buddies 93 and make sure all the bolt holes and whatnot seem to line up, take some measurements and if it all looks good go get those parts on CL. just make sure those look good too.

Thanks will do speaking of yesterday he blew his radiator and head gasket
