xj cherokee fan

Hi, I was driving my 97 xj Cherokee today and started to hear a "pinging" noise like metal chiping against metal from the motor so I pulled over to have a look and noticed my clutch fan was wobbling really bad and causing the fan blades to strike the pully bellow it has also ripped my fan belt a little. My question is- do I have to replace the whole bracket or can I just replace the bearings? Plus can I install an electric fan and and a shorter belt and not use the clutch fan pully at all? Is there an easy fix?
