hmm lets see, 1967 cougar (needed a paint job and a power steering hose, ran great) family roll bar from a 93 yj, tilt steering from the same 93. Still searching for a "complete" 8.8 with discs and limited slip (gearing wont matter, going to 4.88) explorer seats to replace the rotted ones in my yj

Depends on what you want/need at the time.

My dad has owned a 4 wheel drive salvage yard for the last 30 years. I have found all kinds of things.

Easy $20k per ki, thats street price... and those are the "Bricks." They are 2.2 lbs per. (Thats just conversion from SI to American). So $20k x 100 = $2,000,000.

Really not that hard to figure out. I watch alot of cop shows. It cracks me up when they say the "Estimated Street Value" cause it's always way off to make them look better.

Back on topic

I found a bunch of tweekers and weirdo's at my junkyard.... Not a fan of that place. They wanted $400 for a Dana 35.

I know this is old but if you find an 87-88 T-bird Turbo they will have the same 8.8 as the Mustang but came with rear disc factory.

The best thing I have ever found at a junk yard was a few adult movies/mags.

Hey it was in a junk yard.

Well if thet don't count then...

The hood itself. It turns out it actualy used to belong to my grandpaw.
We got it to go on my younger bros 66 Belair. When we were putting it on my dad spotted a dog tag welded to the inside of the hood.

Weekend before last a 94 ZJ came into the self serve yard, retire your ride deal.

lucky for me I was the first guy to get access, and the Jeep was completely rust free, i mean perfect.

needless to say, if I could un-bolt it, it went into my trailer, everything including the absolutely perfect carpet.

couldn't touch the motor or trans, which was the worst part, 130,000 km.

best part was, got everything for $100.
