91 ranger shackles with slight mods can be made to fit the xj for 1.5" of lift.

I've been to every junk yard ( recycling center ) here in Hampton Roads, and theres only one that has Wranglers in it, thats Johnson's Mustang and Ford Parts in Chesapeake, but I have a '89 S-10 Blazer 4X4 that has more power than a tank and the two here close to my house have more blazers than I'll ever need, with p[arts galore, I have had the Blazer for 9 years and I think I bought 1 new part for it once. But the best hidden treasure I ever found was a brand new factory tilt wheel steering column sitting in a T-Boned 2WD Blazer, the Blazer was like a pretzel, with a nice pretty black steering column, I got it for $25
With all the switches and the wheel

I went to the junk yard this week. Ended up slicing my leg open on some exposed metal and had to get 9 staples in my leg. Lost my cell phone in the process. Never found anything i was looking for.
I would say it went well. |

When I was young I went to the junk yard with my Dad, he was taking off a door panel and found some bags of white powder, YEP 25 bag of Coke, the police said the value was over 2 million and this was in the 70s, lol the owne of the yard said the car had been there for allmost 5years.

Needed a new harness for my radio today. Found the harness and a big *** snake sleeping in an old chip bag!
I felt kinda bad since I got jumpy when the snake moved, so I threw him out the top of the jeep and it landed on the roof of an old f100 that some guy was pulling a door off of.

I usually go to a place called pick and Pull, used to be U wrench it here in Va Beach, theres another one on Oceana Blvd called Oceana Salvage, I used to go there a lot, one of the requirements to get in back when Sonny owned it was to have a weapon with you cause of the snake problem he had back in the back, I pulled 5 copperheads and two Water musicians out of there in one week once

Ok OK I spelled it way wrong LOL
but in the spirit of your little smiley face let me tell you what instrument they play. Its called the screaming like a little girl tool bag carrying opera singer sounding part hunter. ![]() (yea it was that big. I came back later with a 12 gage)

Worked in a Porsche wrecking yard when I was in High School.
I was cutting up a 924 when I saw something fall out from under the dash. Turns out it was a loaded speedloader for a .38. Well, that piqued my interest so I started looking up in every nook and cranny under the dash. Ended up finding a loaded Smith and Wesson 5 snubby velcroed up next to the glove box. Told the boss about it, he called the cops and they came and recovered the weapon. Turned out to be clean, and no one could find an owner. My boss recovered it from the PD 6 months later. I imagine he still has that revolver and is still hiding it in his desk as an emergency piece. |
