Im curious at what nice "hidden treasures" you guys have found..so i can keep a look out my self and i was wondering about v8 ZJ springs all around. I heard there is a lift of around 4-4.5" and/or what you guys would recommend.!!

aerostars have a very nice relay box sitting on the left inner fender. can't remember which year though. you have to get two to get enough terminals to fill it up. has a nice cover, tabs for mounting and routes the wires out one end. looks nice.

I understand that a Ford LTD has springs which can be swapped out for a TJ straight swap, and then that will give you a 3" lift.
Do a search for junk yard mods on here and you will find a huge write up about it... |

Mustang/Lincoln 5.0 liter HO SEFI engines, fuel injected 460s, Detroit lockers, GT40 heads and manifolts and throttle body, mail Jeep D44 rear axles (narrow track), more tracklocks than you can throw a stick at, T-176s, Jeep T-18s, T-5s of all sorts, Cherokee 4" lift coils,...
Enjoy!

the heavier duty vehicles sometimes have nice oil coolers on them. rangers also have a nice size tranny cooler. early 80's mercedes diesel have a huge oil cooler on the side of the radiator, probably 4"x6"x 16"? make sure to grab the fittings for it as well.

explorer, mustang, and ranger, i think. i think the explorer is the most popular because it requires the least amount of work and can be had with discs. rangers have a similar setup but the mustang is a triangulated-four-link.
