Steering column issues

Hello everyone,
I recently got back home from over seas from working on Blackhawks in the NG. I have a 84 cj7 that I'm trying to get up and running. The only thing holding me back now is broken lock cylinder on the steering column. It's not the lock cylinder it's self, it's what ever holds it in place. So my problem is the steering wheel is locked, and I can't turn the motor over. Is there and way I can unlock the steering wheel and put on a push start button?

Thanks in advance for any advice / help

Josiah
