Soft Top removal with Dual Top on from New?

So, Being a 1st time JK owner and seeing I purchased the Dual Top option, I need to remove one of them. Being winter I'm going to remove the Soft Top. So, my question is, Do I need to remove the hard top all the way to get the soft top out? Is there an easy way or do it?
I haven't seen anything on specific to removing the soft top with the hard top on from New, just removing one or the other...

This is probably in the wrong section, ooops!

Yes you have to remove the whole hard top and then take the soft top out. Search you tube videos and read the manual. That's what helped me the most for the first time. I would also just wait until summer so you don't have to do it twice

I've seen most of the video's on Youtube as well as read the manual but nothing addresses taking the top off completely to get the soft one out, so that's why I asked.
Anyways, just got back from the garage and removing the soft top. Not hard to do! My wife gave me a hand to take out the soft top while I lifted the hard top from inside giving enough room to slide it out and lay the hard top back down in place. Worked well! I now have it hanging from the roof trusses for easy access when summer arrives.
Only reasons I removed it was I was told you had too and didn't want it to get rubbed through in some place and I wasn't sure it would be OK til summer. I guess the 2nd was to allow access to the rear to load stuff in and out!

It's done now so thanks for the info....

Online Mopar directions for removing soft post-delivery with hard top in place

It took me a while to find complete directions on the proper procedure for removing the soft top with dual top option. I picked up my new 2012 Rubi this week and the first thing I wanted to do was remove the hardtop and put on the soft top...however, the hard top in 90+ degree weather with AC and young kids isn't such a bad move either which means I still have to remove the soft top. Here are the online directions from Jeep:

http://www.jeepmanuals.org/jeep-530.html

Some things are just easier on my old CJ like not having to worry about weather!

I will say this much...the new 4 Door allows 'Old School' Jeep guys to Rock and Roll again with a family in mind that doesn't have the same Jeep grit as an old CJ guy like myself. Some JK owners and potential buyers who are new to the wrangler lifestyle don't realize what they have today with all the technology and refinements!

Some other advice, wait to get help from at least one other person on the hard top. I've removed hard tops myself off of many older Jeeps...I scratched them all and stressed that I was going to break the back window!
