Rough Idle

I just did the head gasket job on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and now the only problem is that it idles rough when i come to a stop... On the highway it is great, its just at stops... All fluid levels are good, everything reassembled to specs... Idle control, coil pack, crank sensor, power booster and master cylinder are all new... Any ideas

Did you try a compression test?

I had the valve and head resurfaced, new seals... I will probably have to rent a compression tester tomorrow...

Still has a distributer? If so be sure all the wires are pushed on good and tight.
