Rear Brake Help!

So I just bought this 01 Jeep Cherokee sport about 2 months ago and it already needs a 850.00 repair according to the mechanic.

I was hoping to do the repair my self, and was wondering if you guys think its doable for someone with little car knowledge (but quick learner)

So according to him I'll need to replace the following

- Rear break drums/shoes
- Rear Break Line
- Wheel Cylinder
- Rear brake hardware

Basically everything in the rear breaks

It's absolutely doable if you don't mind getting your hands dirty.

Biggest problem could be the lines if you live in an area that salts the roads.

I'd recommend replacing both wheel cylinders and brake lines because if one side is bad the other probably isn't far behind and it won't add a significant cost.

In the end you will probably save about $400 doing it yourself.

Order online from Advance and use a 20% off code or go in store and use the info in this thread to save some cash.
