Now you gotta do that center console. It looks great by the way. I'm doing something similar in my YJ. Except I'm using tan and green.

Thanks guys.

I don't think I'm going to paint the center console just yet, because I plan on buying a tuffy center console some point soon, and it's going to be black.

Now the plastic crap that is around the radio, ac, ash tray etc, I'm thinking about painting a mix between black and olive green, but not sure how I want to do it, yet.

I'll get my updated dash painting pics up soon. I'll be out of town for the next few days though so maybe not.

i know this is an old post and i read all the posts, which are awesome. I noticed this post is mostly of interior painting which is sweet. My question is, between Krylon fusion and Dupli-color vinyl which would be better for the exterior plastics? Specifically Fenders. I hear a lot of people using Krylon. Thanks

Man........I just did my center dash bezel today because I wanted to be different. Now this post pops up and I feel like a sheep. Well I did go a little bit different. I called Napa and had them mix me up a 1/2 pint of Patriot Blue Pearl. I cleaned the surface, sprayed it with adhesion promoter, and mixed up my paint. I sprayed mine with a touch-up gun for a little better finish. For a couple dollars more Napa will mix your factory color and put it in a rattle can if you don't have access to paint guns.

I will find out in the morning how it turned out. If it is good I will post pics.

I did not know that. Interesting. Yes, please post pics, because I've been stymied as to what to do with my, currently, black plastic center console cover.

For exterior, I'd use Krylon. It just seems to hold up better overall when exposed to the elements 24/7

Here you go. There were a couple of bugs stuck to it this morning but I guess I'll get over it.

Wow. I know what my next project is. That looks fantastic!

Would ya mind taking an up close pic of the center console, and one of the exterior of your jeep, for a comparison?

See if this helps. This crappy camera at work sucks. It is a perfect match in person other than one being fresh and the other 9 years old.

Mine does not have a CB if you were refering to me.
