oil cap fix

Anyone have this issue before? Trying to change the oil only to find that the oil cap spins now in both directions. After Google advised me to bring it in to a professional I decided I'm going to just give it a shot. I popped the cap off and found just the "inerds" still in tact, I used a flat head screw driver to finish un threading the rest. Best solution to a stupid problem.

Let the engine completely cool before you try and remove the cap.

This, or get your engine warm but remove the cap before the cap gets hot, if it's stuck on when it's cold.
