That is awesome, Rockiholic. Did you use locktite or anything to lock it down? I would be afraid of someone wanting it more than me, if you know what I mean.

My plates were expired by like 7 months (expired in Oct. 2005, renewed May 2006) before I got new ones, so I've had a few dicussions with the police during that time about my shifter. I didnt use any glues or anything because the length is so long and because its wood, I just drilled it to the right size and screwed it on. No problems.

IDK why the police would care as long as he hasnt been drinking. I mean do you think you'd get harassed for wearing a Coors t-shirt, no? So why would they care if you have that shift nob, its not like the thing dispenses beer haha
