Need help motor noise

Iv got a 79 cj7 with a 360 swap the motor is built I was trailin last night and blew the valve cover gasket ran bout 15 minutes or so leakin oil I put new gaskets on it today but now there's a grinding sound assuming its the cylinder walls are scored from lack of oil anybody kno any tricks to save the motor rather not put a new one in it due to this one is built pretty heavly

You can always try some lucas oil... worth a shot

In addition to the lucas oil put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas to lube the upper portion of the valves and cylinder head. If this quiets it down then you always should add 4 oz to 15 gals.
