No problems to date. I always take it off before I head off road..........except for yesterday when I forgot. I traveled down 3 miles of washboard dirt roads and shook the crap out of the Jeep. My license plate stayed put.

I have mine on the floor in front of the driver's seat. I thought it would interfere with my feet, but it is fine.

Wrangler, passenger side, Maglite mounts attached to tool magnets with machine bolts. Magnets held Maglite to tub - amazing how much power those magnets had.

Commander, driver side, Maglite mounts attached to the floor conduit.

Had my maglite mounted in front of the driver seat using maglite mounts found at Ace Hardware for a year now and works well - no feet hindrance.

Jonlabass, mine is in the same spot, however, I'm not keen on the maglites anymore. I just got a MTE M3-2 from dealextreme.com and it is WAY brighter than my maglites. Here is a video comparison between them:

This is how I have mine mounted. Made an adjustable barrier, mounted the light and a pouch.
