I looped mine through my neoprene hi lift boot through the hi lift and under my mount so now they can't jack my fancy hi lift protective cover... Happy day

I used a gun lock as shown above on my hi lift hood mount. I went to my local law enforcement agency and gave them the ol' " i inherited a pistol from my dad and need a lock" routine and boom, free low level detterant. i cant imagine someone stealing one but all the posts in JF spooked me. Cool mod of the eye nut BTW

Funny story, out of the 20+ jeeps in the parking lot where I work, about 6 of them have mounted Hi Lifts, 5 of them were stolen a week ago, mine was the newest and shiniest.... Also the only one with a lock. I still have it. They took the one off sgt millers jeep right next to mine and left my jeep completely alone lol

Time for a thread necro. I have same front bumper as you. did you ever toy with the idea of using the lower light tabs to mount it? I welded the spare tabs closer to the middle so the outer ones are not being used. I was thinking some sort of long studs with a rubber stopper. the hilift can rest on the stopper and nuts on top.
Nevermind the sloppy wires I had just mounted to test :O

Yeah forgot about this thread.

I run a winch and the fairlead would be in the way by using those mounts which is why I run it on top of the fairlead. Let me know how it works in those spots though. It is quite protected inside the prerunner style bumper though.

I bolted mine inside right in front of the rear seat . It's held in place with a bolt/stud right in the middle of the driveshaft hump. Nobody ever rides in the back but they still could if needed .
