Made speaker boxes for just over $100...a little brighter than anticipated, but they wail!

Did this a little while back but never posted it in this thread i dont think. 98 ZJ seats. Bought them for 100 bucks, got the steel plate to mount them for free, had to buy a couple dollars worth of bolts.

These seats are truly mint, its unbelievable really. One of the best things I ever did, makes so much of a difference.

I did this for free

Paracord wrapped the grab handle above the glove box. Already had the cord so it was free!

Cool Idea, I may have to borrow it.

It's simply a series of half hitches, repeated over and over again. The ends are burned and melted to the wrap, I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow.

I took off my old faded turn signal assemblies and I hit them with some Pledge furniture polish and a buffing wheel on a drill and they came out great. Not as good as new ones but it worked wonders(COST $0.00 because I had both the furniture polish and the buff wheel)

Also the other day I was target for someone trying to get my battery out of my Jeep so I came up with quick hood lock until I can afford something better. I used a key lockable door chain with four ONE-WAY security screws. I figured if it was able to withstand someone kicking your door in it will stop someone from yanking the hood up. Yes I am well aware that if somebody wants in bad enough they will get in (that goes for anything house, car, boat, plane, etc.) but hopefully this will slow them down a little. $10.00 for the lock $ 2.00 for the screws

$10 License Plate Light

I needed a license plate light for the NY state inspection since the original was eliminated when flush-mount LED brake lights were added. I picked up some cheap drawer lights at Home Depot and used some scrap aluminum left over from the garage door opener install. I estimated around $10 in materials, but my out of pocket was only the $4.97 for the lights as everything else was already in hand.

Not a bad idea , hate that the hood doesn't need to be opened from the inside , wouldn't be too far a stretch for some knuckle head to pop your hood and pull a plug wire or rip off your battery just for grins.
