Only cost was some EFI fuel hose and EFI hose clamps along with some scrap angle iron. I think it was about $90 total.
For some reason, that don't look very safe!!!!!!!!!!!

If something goes wrong with the gas tank in a bad way your SOL regardless if it's in or out of the tub. If he took a peace of sheet metal and formed a box around it, it would be a fuel cell, and no one would think anything of it...but does that thin peace of sheet metal make him any more safe? Most likely not. imo.

Ok now, for real, back on the subject of the thread.

I got tired of loose items rolling around in the back, especially when going to the grocery store, so I had an adjustable fence made. 5 positions, from where shown here to back flush with the trunk. Less than $40 for material and labor. Mexican prices!

Painted the dash from Saraha Tan to Semi Gloss Black. Probably $45.00 total.

Painted the Iggee seat covers that had faded bad. Probably $35.00 total.

Fabbed and installed a security deck on the back for around $20.00. I got the piece of aluminum diamond plate for nothing. I just had to cut to fit, prime and paint, and rivet it in.

I think it's ugly as hell, but not "un-safe", I woulda put an enclosure around it though.

Here's what I recently did for under $100, actually under $50 (the steel cost me a 30 pack).....

These are the lights. $11.99 for a pair.

The Bar is a piece of 2"x2" fence post from the gardening section at Lowes.

It is attached to the windshield frame with three L shaped brackets. Drilled into the frame, attached them then drilled into the bar and attached the bar to the windshield.
The thread in my signature should have a little more information about it all.

2. Based on your spelling and craftsmanship, how the hell did you ever get certified? Im betting you have air in your breaks, it pulls to the right, you use 134 in your R12 ac compressor, and you have some electrical gremlins in that jeep.

5. Sorry about my negitivity but I had to. and good luck at your quote "currect dealer ".
Classic. bashing someones spelling and craftsmanship while spelling brakes wrong. Nice work.

For $6, I made a fairlead license plate mount out of mag light clips.
