How I got stuck doors off my Wrangler for Summer!

Hi all!

With summer approaching I thought I'd share a little tip that really helped me out.

When I first got my Wrangler a year ago the doors were all really tough to get off, so after much internet searching etc I saw that many people had the same problem, I also found a way that worked really nicely for me.

I hooked up a simple ratchet system, via a hook on the garage ceiling and and wrapped the ratchet strap (which I padded with a towel) under the door. I squirted some oil on the door hinges and slowly tightened the ratchet while opening and closing the door. The door slowly lifted and came off really nicely.

Just be careful to have a good grip of the door when it comes off, because they are fairly heavy and you don't want to drop one!

I'll try to post a youtube clip I made as it explains it better.

I really hope this helps a few people out.
