99 percent of the feedback is good in here and then you get the ones who just want to hang out in mommies basement and type "I don't get it I don't get it". Look at most of the mounts and look at the jeeps they are on, most people take the few minutes of preventative maintenance to take care of what they own. JMO

He is refering to me. I think it is a better idea to keep your hi-lift protected in the jeep as opposed to keeping it outside.

My mommy's (not mommies, I only have one) home doesn't have a basement mine does and yes me an my jeep hang out there:

This is a great set up...any chance they will make another set and send them over here? Who did them for you? PM or have them PM if they will so we can work it out...thx

keeps its safe and clean with the top on or off, aswell as being securely mounted. someone in this thread also stated that the hard and soft case/cover for the hilift was pointless or something, cant find the page so i cant qoute it but i love mine.

how it normaly sits, dont mind the coil cable, thats not what scures it, i just didnt have anywhere to put it at the time so i wrapped it around the jack

shown without the cover for detail of it secures

I put a piece of flat steal under the hood and out two self taping screws into the spine of the hood for extra support. I used the pucks because they are large and would take the pressure off the metal around the holes. I also slid the jack up a little so the bulk of the weight would be centered. It works great and if you try to shake it, it moves the whole Jeep. It cost me about $10 to make.
can you open your hood all the way so it leans on the windshield?

You can get a mount for the driver or passenger side.

I kinda like it. Out of the way, vertical position.

Looks like it could get in the way or hung up and ripped off when on the trails.
This is so far my least favorite mount

Heres mine
