Great pic!! /\

But would you leave your other tools out in the rain?

Who would strap their tools outside there Jeep and drive through mud, climb rocks, expose them to salt covered roads, dust, dirt and whatever else?

If you wouldn’t do it with other tools, why would you do it with your Hi Lift?

I just don't get it?

Did ya see the cover for the internals on the jack? I keep my jack lubed and it still works. And we don't have salt here.

I keep all my jacks outside in the back of the service trucks exposed to the elements. But they get used four to five times a week in a farm environment. Much more than a jeeper would ever use one.

I like the yellow! I'd be afraid that it would get chipped by rocks in that position. Unless you used some implement paint or powdercoated it like that.

I just painted it, give it a year it wont make a difference as much as I use it. It will be scratched up and nasty looking again....

I had these made by another member on Wrangler Forum, I will be installing this week to mount it to the roll bar. It is a 2.25", 2 piece clamp-on shaft collars from McMaster-Carr. Drill and tap to accept a bolt. Add washers, lock washers and nuts. The second and third picture show how it will look when its done.
