Heater core/ No Heat

2000 TJ,4.0, I think. My heater core needs to be cleared out. Heat was working, next day, nothing. So how do I clear out lines & core? Any step by step, DIY's. Thanks in advance.

I used a mixture of white vinegar and lemon juice after flushing it with clean water. The results were unbelievable. Filled up the core with 50/50 of vinegar and lemon juice, waited 30 minutes and flushed until clear. Repeat until only clear comes out after the 50/50 mix. My heater core seemed restored to normal operations.
