Gas tank leak. Help

So I had my subwoofers stollen, long story short, I bolted my new subs to the floor of my 97 grand Cherokee back hatch. I drilled a small hole in my plastic tank. HOW hard is it to drop the gas tank? Do I have to disconnect gas lines? I have done tons of work myself. But a little nervous around gas.

You must drain the gas tank for safety's sake. Make sure to disconnect battery, and take filler neck and gas lines off first. Then use 2 part epoxy by Oatley you can get it at Home Depot. Mold it in your hands and make a dowel out of it and stuff about 3/8 inch into the hole then round the top off like a mushroom. Let dry 24 hours before reinstalling.
