I have used CarBrite on all my Jeeps. If it is really washed out it may take a couple of times to get the true black. http://www.carbrite.com/products/Ext...rim-Restorers/
My brother used it in his detail shop and it has worked great for me and some friends. I don't know the price because he gave me a bottle of it and it has lasted for years.

I'm thinking about painting my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ fender flares with the Krylon Fusion, but what color does everyone use most? Satin Black? Flat Black? Gloss Black? I like the picture from page 2 of this post but he never said what color it was.

I use satin black and it looks just right


2006 Rubicon unlimited, silver. 5.5" long arm lift. 35" BFG KM2's on 15" black steelies. skidrow steering skid and radiator skid . LOD rear bumper with tire carrier. Flowmaster 44 exhaust. .CB with tuffy Overhead storage . Offroad lights in bumpers front and rear plus 2 more on the winch hoop.

After you paint it, to maintain it over time, use 303 aerospace protectant. We use it on boats and stuff and that stuff is the BEST stuff to maintain all the rubber and plastic parts

I quick spritz of adhesion promoter won't hurt an any plasticy part especially a flexy one.
