Faded fender flares????
Just wanted to let everyone know, hopefully this aint a repost. But if you take some cheap motor oil and rub it on your faded fender flares, they will turn black again. After they sit for an hour or so go back with a dry cloth and wipe them down again to get access oil off. Worked for me.

It's been about 4 days so far for me. Still look great and the rain beads right off. 4 Days is better than any other product I used on them before. Never used Forever Black though, heard that good.

Why not just paint them?

Some of my customer swear by Meguiar's Gold Class trim detailer.I've never used it myself but the bottle states "LASTS FOR WEEKS...NOT DAYS".

Back to Black is ok, if they are really faded though it will take many coats, and after a couple rain storms or washes it starts to fade. I would do the paint route, .99 cans of paint and they are easy to touch up, no hassle!

i painted mine, and they came out awsome! Someone mentioned, meguires gold class..if nobody has tried this, it is hands down the best wax i have ever used, makes my car and jeep look like glass, such a superior wax...

I renewed mine with a propane torch. Sounds crazy, but it works (a heat gun will work also). Just warm them up and watch the shine reappear. It should go without saying that all proper precautions for the safe use of a torch should be applied.

I THOUGHT THE FIRST THING YOU DID TO A JEEP IS TO PULL THE FLARES OFF...

I picked up two spray cans from Advanced Auto; Dupli-color Adhesion Promoter and Dupli-Color Bumper Coating. I took the flares off and washed all the mud off .
Then I used the Adhesion first then the Coating, they were ready to put back on in less than 1 hour. That was 9 weeks ago and they still look brand new.
