I'm assuming you were replying to my post about using rivets. Make SURE they're aluminum and NOT steel. You don't want them rusting on you.

Working on another mod, I know there are threads out there for it But for my TJ a mortar ammo can into console with
built-in solar panel, subwoofer/amp, backseat heater, switch panel and additional backseat 12v plugins & lights, I'm trying to do it under $100 bucks. Will post soon! Still waiting on parts and working on electrical diagram

Solar powered rear seat heater? Great idea except for the fact that during the months you'll need the heater, the Sun isn't out much or the top is on more often than not.

No, the additional backseat "fan" heater will be mounted on the lower back of the console and the mini "outdoor friendly" solar panel plate is mounted on the lid/connecting to switch panel for emergency backup power for charging cell phones and other accessories or even using to start ur jeep when battery is dead- it has a shut off mechanism for when you turn off the car or when its full powered to prevent drainage or overcharge on battery life. Don't worry I did my homework- Im still trying to figure out where to put kill switch or whether to pick a tube or flat subwoofer.

I'm trying to outdo the key mod lol haha which I still haven't figured what it is about...

You will, of course, do a write up thread with pictures and sources to buy the parts - right?

Will do, went to the army surplus store today and they didn't have any large 120mm or 81mm tall/short mortar boxes so I'll have to wait till the gun show next month- oh well might as well surprise hubby on some new accessories for his guns from his wish list while I'm there and oh ya pig out on deer jerky yumm....

Thanks

And don't forget your "strategically framed" cleavage shots. I mean, who wears low-cut thin t-shirts in a shop scenario while welding, grinding, etc?
