Dull headlight lenses?

A buddy of mine turned me on to this trick. I tried it this morning and it actually worked.

Make sure it has DEET in it. Be careful. When I did it this morning I noticed the yellow jackets loved the smell. I spent half my time swatting these things away from me.

Just spray it on and wipe it down like Windex. Some may need a bit of elbow grease.

I understand that they can also be polished with toothpaste.

I'll have to give that a try. I've been using a rotary and car polish but your idea would be cheaper :-)

Anything with an oil to it will work, but it will be more temporary than actually polishing.

I'm the only gay eskimo.

This works better than toothpaste, and for me lasted longer than the polishing kit i have used on my drill.

I have a 95 Grand Cherokee and the headlights were yellow and not bright at all... On ebay for 60 bucks shipped I got all six pieces. The headlight (with bulbs) the side marker and parking lights. What a difference bright as can be now!!!They are aftermarket but brand new and fit perfectly.
