A couple of issues

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. It is in very good shape, runs good, and I do the maintenance a bit more than the manual calls for.

I've been have problems with the hazard and turn signals. I changed the unit and it worked for the last several months. Last night when I used the turn signal it blinked a few times then stopped. The next time I did it, it worked, and then the next time it stopped after a few blinks. Any ideas?

Also the glue appears to be drying on the ceiling cover allowing the cloth to drop down. Is there a remedy?

I'm not 100% sure what's going on with your turn signal, and if you said you replaced the multi switch with an official OEM part than I'm not sure why that isn't working. Knockoffs which may be cheaper often fix problems at first, but fail in time like you've said. However for your ceiling falling, gorilla glue will do the job no better than any expensive appoxy you'll find in stores and is probably cheapest.

Here is for the headliner.

Ive done this myself and it costs a little more than 45 bucks. I think $30 for the material at Joanne Fabrics and $36 for the best glue at Lowes (2 cans).
It really makes a difference in the looks of the interior. Overall maybe 6 hours work.

I used to to marine interiors and automotive stuff and for the DIY'er the 3M Super 77 or Super 90 spray adhesive is the best and longest lasting adhesive available to the masses. You can find it at lowes/HD or even Walmart. Avoid the "Hobby adhesive as it will not stand up to the temps that your vehicle will get to during the summer months.

The 77 is a great adhesive but if you are feeling the need for something a bit more, the 90 is impressive. You just had better get it right the first time, because it will not be coming back apart.

for the blinkers, double check all the grounds for each of the lights as well as at the switch, and also the main body, frame, and engine grounds.

Thanks for all the good info.

My blinkers are functioning fine now. I bought the stalk directly from a local Jeep dealer. I didn't think of the grounds.

I'll look for that adhesive.

Oh and wear goggles, an N95 dust mask and a long sleeve shirt of you will glue your nose hairs together and bring the suck when it glues your arm hair together. It is potent stuff
