Does not matter. IT IS ALL BASED ON THE WEIGHT OF YOUR LOAD!

Totally stock.

If the side wall shows max of 44, how can 35 be to high with a stock Jeep.

Those tires are made for a wide range of vehicles not specifically for your Jeep Wrangler. People with heavier Vehicles carrying heavier loads can also use them. Firestone does this so they can sell the same Tire to mrore people therefore increasing their profits.

This is not just a firestone thing, all tire manufacturers do this.

Ross is right.

Here is a real world example, my BFG tires on my JK have a sidewall rating of 65 psi and a load range E. This is the pressure you should run in a full size pickup carrying the maximum load the tire is rated for. On my JK, the factory says 33 psi on the original P225/75R16 tires. You can't go by this with P305 tires. So I needed to calculate the max weight I would carry and the weight of the Jeep and then calculate what psi I needed. In my case, P305/65R17 BFG KO2 tires require 28 psi.

Read up on tire pressure here. https://www.4wheelparts.com/tire-whe...e-checker.aspx
