Cheap soft top padding replacement
Not sure is someone has suggested this but:
The foam on my soft top frame rotted and tore so I used a couple of those pool noodles to replace it. The hollow ones are the perfect outside diameter so you just have to cut it lengthwise, and make some notches for the snaps. A couple wraps of duct tape and you’re set. I got mine at the dollar store so my grand total was $2. Enjoy...

you can just use some pipe insulation from home depot

Small, fine shavings are ok, large chunks are bad, huge chunks with part number stamped on them are real bad. |
