Its really bright and it was free
That's a good idea. Will definitely be borrowig this one!

Screen

Nice. I really like the screen mod and I'm going to use that! What screen did you use from Home Depot again? very curious.

i think its just galvanized gutter guard, cut it with tin snips, then bent and folded around the curves of the grill and glued the heck out of it

took my grill off the other day to paint it and some of the screen was coming loose and rather than fix it, i tore it all off lol, and plastidipped it black as well as removing the jeep emblem on the hood

cost me right about 100.00

93' buick century airbox mod for 30.00 plus 20.00 for the hose and 5.00 for the fitting. plumbed into my cowl...
painted my stinger, bumpers, fenders with rustoleum textured black from a can.. 20.00 or so.. pretty durable and looks cool.

Got some sanitary stainless from work already bent in a radius, got some straight tubes welded on and a coupler so I can quick detach it.

While I am not a fan of stainless steel or chrome, that set up is sweet.

I don't like chrome either, I've been debating powder coating it for some time now. I used the stainless because it welds prettier, and it was free of course.

lol lockedwheels ive done just about every other diy mod i could afford. this is one i did today so far it only works it soft tops . i took a "Headlamp" (for your head) and just sip tied it to my soft top strap to make a dome light. it takes 3aaa but i serves a duel purpose if i need to work on anything at night i can just cut the ties and use it for its original purpose .... if you have a hard top you can adapt it.... on a soft top its slid-able

attach to this strap

use some zip ties or something similar

before

after doesnt look like much but there is alot of light now
