Go to Target and buy a $20 clothing steamer. Works awesome for removing stickers, window tint, body molding, ect and will make the adhesives come off with it without the risk of damaging clear coat, paint, ect.

That's a great idea I'm going to try this to get the dealer stickers off a car we just bought...

Garage
A friend of mine said he used he rubber spacers that keep your tire from rubbing your tail gate as spacers for the seat to raise it up a bit. I wonder if the rubber also softens the bumps alittle.

Here's my cheap mod...
I wanted to try and preserve my new frsme rails as much as possible so I bought some 1 3/8" round hole covers($1.39ea) for the holes on the outside of the frame to keep the dirt and water out.

I used a Heat gun on the flares of my XJ. Looked great for about a month then they turned BLUE! Ended up just painting them. Satin Black.

Not real cheap mod but combines with a Spartan or Aussie locker, The Teraflex 2LO, transfer case kit is great.
And it's a $500.00 plus savings off a ARB D30 locker......... and just as selectable!

Anyone interested in hearing more.... I discussed my install HERE

Last week I picked up a little squeegee at Walmart for 4 bucks. works really nice for wiping down the winshield and the handle screws off and is perfect for getting the water out of the floorboards

...and if you keep the doors and windows off all summer, they work well against rain/spray on the inside of the windshield (I keep towels folded behind the console for that)

I'm just here for the gasoline. --Max
