I got 3 50 Cal ones at a gunshow. Made one into a center console for my YJ and mounted my CB in it. The other 2 are used for tools and spare parts for on the trail. Def a cheap and easy mod

Paint's $5 a at Tractor Supply. Even at 2 cans, it's not much. Then a can of break cleaner and a scotch bright pad. Less than $20.

I'm not old enough to know what you're talking about, but I assume its like a high/low beam foot switch in a semi or a diff lock or decelerate switch in a tractor?

In old pickup trucks both Chevy and Ford used a foot switch to turn on the hi-beams. At the parts store, tell'em you want a hi-beam switch from a 1977 Ford truck. I hate to brag but I still can't get over when drivers coming at me leave their brights on. They love my Hella's, I dunno why?..

I did the foot switch on my 94 wrangler yesterday and the fuel tank mod the fuel tank mod works great and the foot switch the wire u need under the dash are. RED AND ORANGE AND THE OTHER WIRE IS LAVENDER AND WHITE U TAKE THE LAVENDER AND WHITE AND CUT IT IN HALF AND RUN A WIRE CRIME EACH END TO THE FOOT SWITCH AND THE RED AND ORANGE U JUST SPLICE ONE WIRE TO IT AND RUN IT DOWN THE THE SWITCH. DO NOT CUT THE RED AND ORANGE WIRE ONE WIRE FROM IT. AND THE LAVENDER AND WHITE WHEN U CUT IT THE WIRE U PUT ON CLOSEST TO THE HARNESS GOES ON THE TOP PEG ON THE SWITCH AND IT DOSNT MATTER WHITCH OF THE VOTING PEGS U PUT THE ORBS LAVENDER AND WHITE OR THE RED AND ORANGE. A 1999 wrangler has the same wire harness because my buddy did it to his and we uses his for reference and the wires are exactly the same hope this helped

You're looking in the wrong places. Try swap meets, flea markets, & auctions.

My GF's grandfather had like 30 of them in the garage, and her grandmother gives me afew every time I come visit for "storage".

Don't doubt you....based on your occupation, but curious which type aircraft ??
I have an Air Transport Pilots license, with commercial seaplane rating, and 20 yrs of professional flying.......
have never seen a foot switch in an airplane!
Ah...maybe helicopters, where a third hand would be useful??
