Who the h*** rolls around with a crew of people to push start and steal jeeps anyway haha? I was (and still am) just wondering what the reasoning behind the battery disconnects was.

Also, to the jeep above- why would you replace a steel factory bumper with lumber? I could understand if you had no bumper at all and this had to do, but why replace a functional one?

lol, well, I replaced my rear last fall with one from Ground Pounder Fab, and had the stock rear just laying around. I put it up for sale on craigslist, guy called me, wanted to buy both, and I wanted to replace my front anyways. So I said why not and sold both, as well as the foglights. It is just a temporary solution until I order a new one (GPF as well).

Went to my local bike shop and picked up a mirror for when I have the doors off. The threads aren't long enough to be a simple bolt on, so I improvised. I took masking tape to make up for the play within the door hinge, flipped the mirror upside down and threaded the bolt on top. I have yet to test drive it, but in the garage, it covers my blind spot. Not bad for $7.

oh and in the first photo, you can see my cheap dome light mod. Just a zip tie real tight and it holds the switch in place, its reusable too, all you have to do is push the zip tie forward and it releases the switch for when you go door on.

Lost Dog. Info on Facebook, search Bring Ty Home. Spread the word. $5000 reward, lots of parts for your Jeep =]

Run a nut up the threads all the way, then weld a longer threaded shaft on the end of the present threads (cut another bolt). Plug it in right side up, then spin up a nylock nut on the bottom new threads.

Just read all 51 Pages.....went out to my YJ and flipped my mirror upside down. That was worth this entire thread. I'm 6'4" and this made a huge improvement for me. Now I just need the get my Jeep to pass inspection mod.

Just helped a buddy put a 1 inch body lift on using hockey pucks and grade 8 or 10 bolts. Pretty cheap and easy to do. I think less than $30 total. 1 puck for each mount and a bolt, nut, lock washer for each.

looks like you're trying to post them up from photobucket. There should be an option on the website to "get URL's" if you do that the last option you can just copy and paste it to the sight and it should work fine. It should have surrounding the url if I'm not mistaken.
