Box / Gunrack /tool rack Idea

Ok I am not really sure where or how I came up with this idea but here it goes

First of all I have really been wanting to make my own tool box for a while and have looked at several deferent ideas on how to do so

Second if I built a tool box I wanted one of those bed cover like things im not sure what they are called

Third I waned a Gun/Tool rack to hang a shovel, axe, and a shotgun

So I thought why not try and find a way to make it all at the same time so this is what I have come up with

Build my own box with sliders so all you stuff can slide right out, cut out a piece of plywood and make it to fit on top of wheel wells and around the roll bars then take two 2"x4" boards and mount someway to the roll bar and the covering piece of plywood , then install the gun racks that you can buy for 4 wheelers and mount into the plywood

using the good ol paint I drew this up real quick the best I could so what do you guys think any body tried something like this or have any ideas suggestions

will try and start working on this in the next few weeks

I like the idea of pursuing a good gun rack.
In our state (WA), the traditional gun rack violates law now; the firearm isn't to be visible. (Commie Baslurds)

My other 4WD is a Kubota

toolbox

I did this,

superstrut underneath (12Ga.) for strength - 3/4in plywood heavily sealed and outdoor carpeted & scotchguarded. two .50 ammo boxes up front - done...

I didn't, just flat across the front in front of them. Same with over the top. Trying to mold around them would have been a major pain.

I have been planning to find a pet devider from a path finder or vovlo wagon to mount the guns on. If that idea is useful to you try it.

Jeep Deck

I have these pics of the cage - the ammo cans will mount at the front cage section and will open towards each other with the lid being on the floor when opened. It isn't a complete seal but there's noway someone could get in there through the small space - keeps the subwoofer from being muffled also!

The super strut will allow virtually anything with a mount to be secured back there - I'll add lateral struts also but its so solid right now I'm just not in a hurry to do that!

The d-rings have 1/4/ in steel straps connected on each side of the deck also for added strength.
