save your old belt .. I used mine to strap stuff down in the bed of the mj if needed or in the event i tossed one going down the road. ....

I stored my old belt after replaceing it next to the battery and body of the eng compartment.

it might only be good for a few hundred miles .. but will defintly give you time to get to the auto parts store.
