How about a lax ball? Anyone tried one of those? I have an orange and a white one. They make glow in the dark ones. They are about the perfect size for your hand and have just enough heft. They are solid as a rock.

Build

WTS: 4.2 parts. Fuel lines, pump, block, head, accessories, just ask

yeah. I was thinking that they are just right to palm. So you just epoxied in a nut or a sleeve or what? looks good. You ever play a team called Sav Lax or Spartans or anything like that?

You are my new hero. Gotta ask what you did to make that work? Did you cut out the bottom and fill it with an epoxy. Then add a thread insert? Skoal Straight FTW

I don't blame people for their mistakes, but I do expect they pay for them.

I use one from a '92 Integra. I like the bigger numbers for my old eyes, and I still need the numbers as I forget where the gears are. [This is the Dodge Durango forum, right?]

I have a baseball and pineapple grenades in my garage just can't figure out how to mount them because my origonal bolt was sheared off...

I have a LAX ball on there now until I figure out how to put the grenade on there.

I'd grind the top of the stub smooth, then drill and tap it, then cut the head off a bolt and use the threaded part as a stud. It should be fine if kept tight. Don't use a shift ball that needs to be facing a certain way, so you can just hunker it down with no lock nut.

Good idea!

I could take the head off the grenade and use a nut with a large washer to stick the thing on there then adjust the top of the grenade for comfort...

Briliant!
