Back Seat Belts

I recently bought a 92 Wrangler, and the guy before me had it inspected then through a back seat in the jeep. However there are no seat belts. I live about 10 miles from a beach/park area I like to take my daughter, who is two and still in a car seat. It it all country backroads but I wanted to put a car seat in the back for the short drive but not sure how with no seat belts.

Even though a short drive I do not want her in front seat like some others have told me. I want her in her car seat.

Has anyone else ever ran into this issue, what was the fix?

There is no buckle, belt, strap or anything. Unless it is zipped inside the seat which I haven't looked yet.

When i got mine it was hidden under the rear seats you might have to hit up your local pick n pull

They may have been removed, however YJ rear seat belts are fairly easy to come by and easy to install. When I swapped out the rollbar in my CJ7 to the family style from the YJ I also put in rear seatbelts for the kids with no issues.

X2 on the junk yard. That will be your cheapest option. You may want to check Craigslist as well for someone parting out an old YJ.

Call the retailers listed earlier, and others that specialize in Jeep parts & accessories.

Ask the retailers if they sell seat belts manufactured by a company called Seat Belt Solutions based in Jupiter Florida. I have a Jeep shop & have installed a number of aftermarket replacement belts and they all are a comprise in my opinion, with the exception of the ones manufactured by Seat Belt Solutions. They were a perfect fit.
