Got a 20mm center console. Just took up some measurements, so I'm going to be getting hopefully 3 more boxes to keep in my instatrunk. One for recovery gear and tools, one for a spare set of clothes and a towel, then the other will probably be for water and other supplies

Classic Arms Inc. has 50 and 30 cal ammo cans. I bought one of each for $16.50 total, I think s/h was $8. Not a bad deal imo. It's a sloppy site, but reliable, cans are at the bottom.

added some marine grade foam padding and vinyl to the top for comfort and a kill switch inside the console. works perfect, can rest my forearm and only move my hand and wrist to shift. Also put cup holders down at the floor level.

I made a center console also. I split two 40mm cans at about 3/4, then welded the two bigger parts together to make it larger, but to keep it looking like one can. Then used a smaller can to make a drink holder for the front of it. I padded the top with some foam and canvas stapled onto a thin piece of plywood, which I bolted to the top, and added an eyebolt so I can use a padlock to lock it up.
God, guts, guns....without them we have no FREEDOM!

I keep jumpers, a quart of oil, and most important... a roll of TP in a 50cal can behind the rear seat. Exciting huh.

I painted mine with a rattle can flat black. Then bolted it to the bumper. Works great. I carry some tools and other general stuff in there. I also like to carry my fishing tackle boxes in there.

I got another one the other day to install on the other side. Best part is, you can barely notice it.

Ammo cans

This is what I have right now. Wants to have 4 welded in a platform that slides out (like a draw) so you don't have to climb the Jeep to get things out of the boxes.
