too many options. I would google image seatch.

I tried various version, the one i liked the most is running a tube from the hood cowl to the oem air box.
I did something like this

Scepture makes one that is a little above $100.

+1 DIY cowl "snorkle". Retains the large filter area of the stock filter, gets you cold, dry air, and is very cheap.

Have you done the cowl snorkle mod? The stock air box has a bunch of drain holes in the bottom.

Not yet because because my filter keeps getting wet. Im not sold on cutting into the cab because if the air box fills with water through the drain holes what am I gaining? would I be better off elimnating the airbox?

So you're on the stock setup? What are you doing when the filter gets wet? Getting the Jeep in water up to the headlights or driving in the rain or river crossings or what?

The cowl mod does NOT draw air from the cab. The cowl is a separate plenum attached to the firewall. Generally one seals the airbox after doing this.

We like to get on train tracks and see where they go and most of the bridges are gone so crossing a creek is pretty common the water never goes above the hood line so it has to be comeing from the bottom of the box
