Hi AABigRick,

Has your Jeep dealership addressed the leak at all for you? There are several STAR cases that they may be able to look at to try and help diagnose your concern. Let me know if you need any assistance making an appointment!

I have, I was originally told it would be covered and then after an additional phone call. I was informed that it would not be covered despite me haveing the $3,000 lifetime warranty bumper to bumper plan because it is water damage. I was then informed that they may cover it under the factory warranty because im just at 32,000 but they would not know if they would cover it until they look at the issue and diganose it. I dont want to get my jeep to the dealership and then them tell me that i have to pay for everything including the diagnosis fee and labor fee if it is somthing I can fix. I then would have to pay for a loner car out of pocket too if they decide its not covered. My apologies if my tone is offensive but Im rather sore about this subject considering I paid substantial money for the extra warranty and the leak is not covered. Now i drive around with the carpet removed because I dont want to get mold.

A STAR case is a previous technical case that the dealership can view to see if it might be similar to what you're experiencing--it may help diagnose and/or repair your vehicle.

Unfortunately without a diagnosis from the dealership I also don't know what type of coverage you may or may not have; if you decide to bring it in, please let me know!
