2007 jk unlimited hard top

Hi,
This is first post.....

I have a 2007 jk unlmited x. Im about to buy a freedom top off of a 2009. the seller swears it wiil fit. I called quadretec, they said it will fit without a doubt. I googled this question also and came across 3 different answers....yes....no....and.....yes if I modify it.

Can anybody out there give me a concrete answer?

Thanks

Nick

Yes, 2007-2011 work together, the only difference on the '12 & '13 models is the rear window is wider so it wont seal. But the 2009 will fit perfectly on a 2007
