2 cheap tricks....

i came up with that were so cool that 4Wheeler mag, and 4 wheel drive, published them in *Cheap Tricks* in the early 1990's.

seemed pretty simple to me, so i sent them in and was published! lol.

one was: to use eye bolts when installing a CJ hard top, instead of regular bolts. it just provided more attachment points for bungees/etc in ur jeep

and the other was: when ur zippers break on ur door windows; get 2 brass 36" zippers and sew them in, attaching them to the existing broken zipper material sections, starting at the top-dead-center of each window, and install one on each side (L & R). The zippers are usually heavy duty, and are brass, so they dont rust.

i too was published. can't find tho... many of use a hose to occasionally siphon or transfer fuel so i added a simple screw together glass in-line fuel filter to help keep the junk out. (we once had to use a sock when in the remote desert. Drew straws who would give up.)
Not me lol

Look it's a 4.6!
