(2) 97 TJ problems

Airbag lite comes on intermittently. Normally is off after I start the jeep and once I back out of garage and turn he wheel, it comes on. Clock spring??

When I step on the brakes, the LH turn signal comes on steady. If I move the turn signal switch just a tiny bit, the turn signal goes off and everything works normal. Once that turn signal switch is moved like I described, everything continues to work normally until I use the turn signal and then I have to repeat the process.

My uncle just gives the dash a good hit when his airbag light comes on and that fixes it haha. Mine stays on because mine went off and haven't been replaced..

When the airbag light is on, try honking the horn. If the horn doesn't work its a bad clockspring. If it does, then I don't know what it would be. Mine went out twice and the horn was the easiest way to tell.

Remove the gauge cluster and check the connections to the cluster. I had this happen this week. Before I was getting the turn signal staying solid and airbag light came on the other morning and to top it off all guages stopped working as well. I now have 34 unregistered miles on my TJ. I removed the cluster and the connector on the left side had slipped out of its place. Plugged it back in and everything worked properly.
