maybe a v8. There are a bunch of mods, but I dont think most of them are worth the time or money.

Not really, I bought a CAI from Tire Rack since they were trying to get rid of them and put it on clearance. My butt dyno didn't feel a difference from stock.

electric fan made a big diffrence, when you only got 100 horse(on a good day, and thats not even at the wheels) 2 or 3 extra seems noticeable. 4.0 throttle body couldnt hurt. ditch the a/c if you got it, thats another useless pulley to spin(unless you use it for an onboard air comp.). good distributor/or msd could help. fresh plugs. synthetic oil.some kind of better air intake, Id keep that plenum box on top of the t-body for volume. lost all my low end with a tube type(I put a cone filter thru the wall to the cowl and fabbed a metal box to keep water out) headers seem to kill bottom end power and thats what you need 80% of the time. just do the little cheap stuff as needed and save for a swap if you really want some cajones under the hood.

You have to get a new chip - or reprogram what you have. Even then you still have a 4popper.

There's a couple of air restrictors in the filter box intake you can remove. It helps a little.

If you really want more power sell your Jeep now. Your profile says that you are still stock so if you know that power is a problem you should find a Jeep with a 4.0 before you start to dump money in the one you have.

I love my jeep dont plan on selling it anytime soon... if I wanted a bigger motor I would have put one in instead of completely rebuilding my 2.5... I was just wondering if there are any mods that I can do to it to help the power/fuel economy
