How do the electronics in the Jeep function with the relays in the doors unhooked?

There are no problems. Of course the interior lights stay on, but you can turn them off with the switch on the steering column.

I just wanted to mention something about the interior lights staying on and the door chiming. If you disconnect the battery with the factory doors closed then remove the doors and reconnect the battery, the computer thinks the doors are closed and you won't have to worry about it.
Also if you are only taking the front doors off, you will need to roll the rear windows down BEFORE you disconnect the driver's door, otherwise you won't be able to roll them down. All the power runs thru the driver's door. Ask me how I know?

I will be getting ahold of you when I get my taxes back. I need a set of those!

Is it possible to get just the rear doors? I like going doorless, but have kids. I'd feel better having more than just a seat belt to hold them in.

How would one go about mounting mirrors to the A-pillar/frame if you remove the doors? Or is there a way to mount "Wrangler-type" mirrors to the doors themselves?

A cover on the doors wouldn't help with this since the rain would come in above the door. I throw some rubber floor mats on my seats and it keeps them dry all the time.

The dome override switch on the steering column is pefect for turning the lights on and off manually. PM sent.
