I would love to see pictures. I thought some clearancing would be required. Did you measure the total clearance gain?

thats awesome news. I planned on test fitting mine to see if I can get away without the lopro tranny mount. This makes me feel good, looking forward to the pics.
Oh and my skid arrived today. I agree with jhendrix05, its a beautiful product, I was planning on painting it, but I may have to leave it bare aluminum to show it off
its barely taller than a hockey puck

Check out the skid next to a DP can.

Before TT

After TT

I am really excited to see you install the 1" deep skid with only 1.25" of body lift and no hammering. Post up some better pictures of the clearance around the top of the t-case and such.
Thanks,

If i were you id atleast hit it with 2-3 coats of clear. aluminum will corrode over time outdoors, not nearly as fast as steel and not as ugly as steel... but it still does corrode.

My pictures kinda really suck. hope this helps. The transfer case has about 3/4 inch at the highest point before hitting the tub.
Side View from frame on Driver side.
Back View

From top of transfer case forward.
From the Front D/S to the Back.
I hope this will show that no clearancing is needed on my 97 TJ with auto with a 1 .25 JKS BL and MML .
Here is the added ground Clearance with 35s.

Any updates on the LOPRO mount? This is the only thing that I am waiting on before ordering my 1" skid. I will be stuffing a 241 behind my NV2550 with a 1"MML and 1.25"BL. I am shooting for no tub clearancing. I will post pics when I get it all in.

I am working on it right now. Actually headed to the hardware store to get some bolts in a few minutes for that very project.

Hey Jhendrix05,
I have very similar set up as you. What did this do to your rear driveshaft angle at the cv joint (transfer case end)? Did you measure before/after or even just-after angle from TC output shaft to rear drive shaft angle? Did you feel any increase in driveline vibration at highway speeds? Did you use adjustable control arms to bring the angle of the rear u-joint to zero degrees after install? How about before and after driveshaft length from centerline of rear u-joint to centerline of the forward bearing caps of the cv joint at the transfer case end?
Sorry for all the questions. If you could just answer the ones that you can, it might help me with my decision.
Thanks alot!
Jess
