Here is an excellent video about checking speaker polarity. Make sure that your new speakers are installed correctly!

thinking about buying a set of these, just need to get some money for speakers.

I like the tweeter brackets. I recently installed 5.25" Kappas with your brackets (before you had released the tweeter brackets), with I had waited and I would have gotten components for the front.

Great brackets by the way. I didn't paint them either, don't see the point, none of the metal in the dash is painted.

Tweeter brackets are for sale, but with as many size variations that exist...I imagine they'll be a never ending work in progress. No complaints so far though! I received a new press brake die in the mail just for them a few minutes ago. Every set that I've shipped so far was bent with a 1" V...this one is a 1/2" V and makes for a much better bend for this type of part. Just bent a set and it's NICE.

I've never used a polyurethane die before, so I was a little skeptical...but I think you guys will be pleased with the end product!

As far as painting the adapters...I've noticed that A LOT of customers do not paint theirs. Often the inside looks like this:

So really, your dash would rust away long before these thick things.
