Just ordered mine today. Now I just have to stop being lazy and buy the speakers. Thinking Polks DB5251 for the dash and DB651s, I have them in my amazon cart just haven't clicked buy.

Cutting out these brackets is a PITA. I can't get the right angle with the dremel. Any ideas or tips?

Can you get the disc to fit like this?

Yea I was trying to get a flatter angle though. I guess it'll work. Need to go get the right discs, I think I'm using the wrong ones.

You might also try using tin snips or a hack saw blade...I've been using a sawzall lately(super fast!)

I think I might slip up with sawzall and wind up cutting out my whole dash.

Thanks for the pics. I was wanting to see what needed to be cut. I can see it's just something I can use the tin snips on. (I've got a RotoZip with cutting tool - but this is really a tiny cut, not even worthy of a power tool!)

I put new 4" rounds in mine 6 months ago and already they started to rattle/buzz because they can;t handle what the rest of the system does. I'm placing my order today.

Another vote for Nalin mfg. Stop reading and just buy them!

Guess my TJ is different than everyones.
I didn't have a bar in the way. I just had a bar with some structure to it for the dash.

Checked all my clearances with no problems -not even some screws were gonna do anything.

So my install was easy!

Picutres are with the NalinMFG 5.25" adapters installed into a Jeep TJ.
