Makes more sense now .... I just ordered the speaker adapters and the Polk components , Now I need a decent head unit ......

Got my speakers in yesterday! Everything is set for me to install these and a whole bunch of other stuff over the next three days. I'll be sure to take pictures! Thanks for the product that gives us great speakers choices Nalin!

Finally got the days off to do the tear down on the jeep and slip these awesome brackets in as a side project. The Polk's were definitely a great choice!! If you're thinking about these brackets, just do it because it's worth it ! The speakers were really easy to wire too.

I'll get some more pics today with the wires cleaned up. I mounted the little boxes high up on the sides of the tub because they were easier to mount there.

Thanks for posting up! A lot of guys have been going with the DB5251 components lately.

Nalin, I'm going to be replacing my factory speakers soon and will be making an order soon. I was just wondering if you had any recommendation for speakers? I'd probably want to spend about $75 for a pair. Let me know if you have any ideas.

The best advice I can give would be to go into a local store and listen to a few...everybody has different tastes. The most popular set I see installed are easily Polk DB521's. They are marine rated...and just an all around quality speaker. Amazon is normally cheapest, but most major retailers/online audio stores carry them.

You may want to look through this thread. Several customers have posted pictures of their setups, and would probably be happy to give feedback on their speaker choices.

My Girlfriend got me these and some sony speakers for our anniversary. What a difference they made! I love the brackets and they were an easy install! Ill post up some pics later! Time to go cruise and jam out! Awesome Product!
